Rachel Shaefer, PT, DPT
Director, Carson Physical Therapy - East End
Dr. Schaefer attended the University of Arkansas in Little Rock from 2004-2008, graduating with her bachelor’s in Health Science with emphasis in Community Health Promotion. She attended the University of Central Arkansas in Conway from 2008-2012, graduating with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Rachel started working at Carson Physical Therapy in November 2012 and practices out of the East End clinic.
Her physical therapy interests include women’s health physical therapy, gait and balance training, prevention of injury and mechanics of running, as well as knee and ankle rehabilitation.
Dr. Schaefer was raised in Sheridan, Arkansas where she currently lives with her husband. She enjoys traveling to Missouri to see her husband’s family, running half marathons, riding horses, and volunteering with her church.
